UNIFY's Product Group develops automated provisioning and connectivity solutions. It has developed FIM Event Broker™. FIM Event Broker is a robust, flexible and scalable real-time, event manager for FIM. It manages the events involved in a FIM based provisioning solution and triggers FIM at appropriate event-driven points. It allows organisations to retain the integrity and reliability of a FIM based solution, while gaining event driven timing that provisions identities and information when changes occur, at the time they occur and only for the relevant changes. Event Broker ensures automated, continuous compliance. It is commonly referred to as a FIM auto-pilot.

UNIFY has developed Identity Broker™ for FIM. Identity Broker extends the traditional capabilities of FIM and FIM Management Agents by interacting with disparate applications or services at a business level whilst also providing further capabilities such as role based information, organizational structure, manager relationships and self checking to ensure that data integrity is never compromised – all real-time with changes being provisioned at the time of change. Identity Broker operates fundamentally differently to traditional intermediary connector systems from other vendors. UNIFY is SAP's first Australian Specialist Solutions Partner focusing on Identity Management. UNIFY has a longstanding relationship with Netweaver Identity Manager and its predecessor MaXware.

From 1 May 2005, MaXware AS closed its office in Australia and appointed UNIFY as sole distributor of its Identity Management products in Australia and New Zealand. Tore Wold, then CEO of MaXware, and Mark Goodall, Managing Director of UNIFY Solutions established this relationship to offer enhanced value to MaXware customers and partners through the focus of Australia's leading Identity Management organisation on the positioning and support of MaXware technology. Acting on behalf of MaXware AS, UNIFY took on responsibility for existing customers and partners as well as support services.

By mid 2006, Maxware (through UNIFY) had extended its reach into the Australian market beyond its major customers in Telstra, Defence and DEWR with new contracts in the Department of Industry, Tourism and Resources (DITR) and ACT Electricity & Water / AGL and a major extension of its product range in the Department of Defence.
