Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) 2010 Foundation Training (4 days)

This course, developed by OCG for Microsoft is for students who have no previous FIM 2010 or ILM 2007 experience. It is intended for Systems Engineers, Developers and Architects who need to gain a good understanding of how FIM 2010 can be applied to managing identity information across a number of directories or databases and for those who simply wish to review the technology in some depth. It makes use of presentation, discussion, demonstration, and a lot of hands-on exercises to introduce and explain the features and capabilities of FIM, and the solution scenarios it addresses.

Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) 2010 Upgrade Training (4 days)

This course offers aficionados of ILM 2007/MIIS 2003 the opportunity to gain a good understanding of the new features available in FIM 2010 RC1. Delegates for this course will be Systems Engineers, Developers or Architects who already have a strong working knowledge of the synchronization engine from previous versions through either deployment experience or having attended 2731 training.

ADFS: Introducing Active Directory Federation Services (4 days)

Federation is becoming one the key buzz-words of the IT industry, across all sectors and this course is designed for IT professionals who need to develop a thorough understanding of the way in which federation can be used to resolve typical inter-security realm resource access problems. The business drivers for federation are first explored before installing and configuring Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) in a variety of configurations.

ADAM/ADLDS Implementing, Deploying and Maintaining Microsoft Active Directory Application Mode (4 days)

ADAM, and now ADLDDS are increasingly being factored in as part of the architectural design, both within the Identity management space and without. This is a very thorough course that not only covers how and why things work the way they do in but because ADAM is essentially “Active Directory Lite” this course provides insights into Active Directory that other courses do not cover. This is a must for anyone deploying ADAM, but is also highly desirable to complete the skills set of even the most hardened Active Directory professionals.
