MaXware Extends reach into Australian Market

Identity Management specialist software supplier Maxware has extended its reach into the Australian market with new contracts in the Department of Industry, Tourism and Resources (DITR) and ACT Electricity & Water / AGL and a major extension of its product range in the Department of Defence.

UNIFY Solutions is MaXware's distributor in the Australia and new Zealand region. Managing Director, Mark Goodall, outlined today that several organisations were realizing the tremendous value MaXware Identity Centre (MIC) now provides and the rich capability achievable by upgrading from current DSE implementations.

Specifically clients are taking advantage of the full MaXware Identity Management suite functionality including:

• synchronizing and joining existing accounts
• integrating and virtualizing identity information from diverse repositories
• setting up a complete workflow and provisioning system for distributed account management
• password handling across multiple applications
• federation across disparate security domains
• virtualizing data to ensure relevance to the various clients
