Department of Environment and Heritage contracts UNIFY Solutions to plan Directory and Single Sign-On Strategy UNIFY Solutions today announced that it has been selected by the Department of the Environment and Heritage to carry out a requirements analysis and assess options for a single authentication/single sign on model for their major departmental IT services. The Department has a range of IT services that are not underpinned by a single authentication facility. The result is that staff need to remember several username/password combinations in order to use these information services. This is inefficient for both users and systems managers. UNIFY is assisting the Department to achieve a single sign on, or at least single authentication point for all or most of their services. |
